Final NCAA Division I men’s regular season rankings released

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Via United Soccer Coaches) – On Tuesday, United Soccer Coaches released the final regular season regional and national rankings for NCAA Division I men’s soccer.
TOP THREE TEAMS
No. 1: Led by Jon Bakero, Wake Forest are the top scoring team in the country with 55 goals this season and boast the best winning percentage (.900) of any school.
No. 2: Led by Trey Musa, Indiana is the only unbeaten team in NCAA Division I men’s soccer and features the nation’s best defense with a .186 goals against average.
No. 3: Back-to-back national champions Stanford bring a balance of both offense and defense as the only team in the top five for goals per game and goals against average.
On Monday, the NCAA released the NCAA Division I men’s championship bracket featuring a field of 48 teams. Tournament play will commence on Thursday with 16 first round matches and will conclude with the NCAA College Cup on Dec. 8 and 10 in Philadelphia.
