Five ECNL Girls Regional League Championships announced for June 2023

Richmond, Va. – ECNL Girls announced an expanded postseason format for the 2022-23 season, highlighted by five Regional League Championships that will take place from June 16-18.

The five Regional League Championships this season will be:

• ECNL Regional League Championship – Central – (Great River, Heartland, Ohio Valley) held at SLYSA Soccer Complex in St. Charles, Missouri

• ECNL Regional League Championship – Northeast – (New England, North Atlantic) held at PDA Soccer Complex and Morningside Farm in Somerset, New Jersey

• ECNL Regional League Championship – Southeast – (Carolinas, Florida, Southeast, Virginia)  held at Bryant Park Soccer Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina

• ECNL Regional League Championship – Texas – (North Texas, Texas, USC) held at Russell Creek Park in Plano, Texas

• ECNL Regional League Championship – West – (NorCal, Northwest, Southwest) held at SilverLakes Complex in Norco, California

ECNL Regional League Championship – Central | SCHEDULE MATRIX

At the Central Championship, 16 teams will qualify from the U13-U17 age groups. These teams will be divided into two different eight team knockout brackets and will play to determine the two teams who advance to the ECNL Regional League Finals out of each region.

At the U18/19 level, only eight teams will qualify and play in a knockout tournament to determine the ECNL Central Regional League Champion.

ECNL Regional League Championship – Northeast | SCHEDULE MATRIX

At the Northeast Regional League Championship, eight teams will qualify from each of the U13-U18/19 age groups. Teams will participate in an eight team knockout tournament to determine the ECNL Northeast Regional League Champions at each age group.

ECNL Regional League Championship – Southeast | SCHEDULE MATRIX

At the Southeast Regional League Championship, 16 teams will qualify from the U13-U17 age groups. These teams will be divided into two different eight team knockout brackets and will play to determine the two teams who advance to the ECNL Regional League Finals out of each region.

At the U18/19 level, only eight teams will qualify and play in a knockout tournament to determine the ECNL Southeast Regional League Champion.

ECNL Regional League Championship – Texas | SCHEDULE MATRIX

At the Texas Regional League Championship, eight teams will qualify from each of the U13-U18/19 age groups. Teams will participate in an eight team knockout tournament to determine the ECNL Texas Regional League Champions at each age group.

ECNL Regional League Championship – West | SCHEDULE MATRIX

At the West Regional League Championship, at the U13 and U14 levels, eight teams at each level will be divided into two groups of four, from there the teams will play a three game group stage and the two group winners at each level will advance to the ECNL Regional League Finals.

At the U15-U17 levels, 16 teams at each level will be divided into two different eight team knockout brackets and play to decide the two teams who advance to the ECNL Regional League Finals.

At the U18/19 level, an eight team knockout bracket will be played to decide the West Regional League Champion.

The eight teams from the U13-U17 age groups who advance from the weekend, will then all meet at the ECNL Regional League Finals in Richmond, Va., which will be held concurrently with the ECNL Girls Club Competition National Finals.

There they will compete in an eight team knockout bracket in each age group to decide the overall ECNL Girls Regional League Champions, while also giving each team a guarantee of two games.
