Five girls teams crowned Central States NPL champions, clinching spots in 2020 NPL Finals

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 2020 Central States NPL regular season has concluded for the girls age groups, with five teams from four clubs capturing league titles.

While the champion of nearly every division has been determined, KC Fusion and Kansas Rush will meet in the final 16-U match on February 12 to determine the winner of that age group.

Sporting St. Louis currently leads the way with two titles in the 13-U and 14-U divisions, while KC Fusion has already clinched the 17-U age group. Lou Fusz SC (15-U) and Kansas Rush (19-U) also secured championships, and all are advancing to the 2020 Girls NPL Finals.

Here are the 2019-20 Central States NPL champions:

Central States NPL is one of the top leagues in the area with more than 14 state champions across the boys and girls divisions every year. These 2020 league winners will look to continue their run of success in the 2020 Girls NPL Finals in Colorado. In last year’s 2019 Girls NPL Finals, the Central States NPL yielded two national champions, as Sporting St. Louis (13-U) and Lou Fusz (17-U) each brought home titles.
