Five teams secure ECNL Boys Regional League championships at 2024 Finals

The ECNL Boys Finals concluded with five ECNL Boys National Champions and five ECNL Boys Regional League National Champions being crowned over the final days of action in Richmond.

Below is a recap of the U13-U17 ECNL Boys Regional League title matches:

U17 ECNL Regional League National Champions – SLSG MO

Despite numerous scoring chances from both sides, SLSG MO and FC Wisconsin ended Friday’s U17 ECNL Regional League National Championship deadlocked at 0-0. From there, the two sides headed to penalty kicks, where it took nine rounds for SLSG MO to finally come out on top and clinch the championship.

U16 ECNL Regional League National Champions – Kansas Rush

Alonso Garcia led the way with a hat trick, including an astonishing second goal, and Michael Gary tacked on two more goals late in the second, as Kansas Rush defeated Doral Soccer Club 5-1 to lift the U16 ECNL Regional League National Championship.

U15 ECNL Regional League National Champions – Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals

After scoring four goals in their quarterfinal game against Beach FC and another three in their semifinal win over FC Westlake, Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals kept their high-flying offense going with another three goals as they captured the U15 ECNL Regional League National Championship in a 3-1 win over Chicago Inter.

U14 ECNL Regional League National Champions – Three Rivers Soccer Club

Three Rivers Soccer Club and GSA were scoreless through regulation in the U14 ECNL Regional League National Championship. In the first period of extra time, Three Rivers fired home a shot from a corner kick to grab a 1-0 lead. The lone goal held up as Three Rivers SC lifted the U14 ECNL Regional League National Championship trophy.

U13 ECNL Regional League National Champions – San Francisco United FC

After picking up a 1-0 win over Solar SC in the semifinals, San Francisco United continued their strong defensive performances with a 1-0 win over Delaware FC to clinch the U13 ECNL Regional League National Championship.
