Florida Atlantic University men’s soccer team adds three to recruiting class
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University men’s soccer coach Joey Worthen has announced the signings of three student-athletes.
Luis Sailer Fidalgo, Micael Lervik and Vasilis Spinos are all eligible for the spring 2021 season. In Worthen’s fourth season at the helm, the team is looking to build upon the momentum built last year after securing a trip to the program’s first Conference USA Tournament.

Micael Lervik
Position: Midfielder
Hometown: Fredrikstad, Norway

Major: Business Management
Fun Fact: When he was six, his family got a dog and at the time he was a huge fan of Lilo and Stich, so he named his dog just that, Stich
Lervik was called up to the Norwegian National Team, which he credits as one of his biggest accomplishments. The midfielder was also part of the Norwegian Championship team.

Fun Fact: Looks more Spanish than German
Sailer Fildago is a three-time league title champion. He credits one of his biggest accomplishments as being promoted to junior Bundesliga.

Vasilis Spinos
Position: Defender
Hometown: Nea Kifisia, Greece
Previous School: The American College of Greece – Deree
Major: Economics
Spinos is coming off second place in the super league U19. He is a three-time champion of the private schools tournament (from 2016-17 to 2018-19) and was awarded second place in the Greek national school tournament in 2016-17 and fourth place at the same tournament in 2017-18. Spinos also played with Panathinaikos U17 in 2017-18, finishing the super league in second.
