FORT MYERS, Fla. (Via FGCU) – Florida Gulf Coast University’s top-10 ranked scoring offense just became more potent as Louise Lillback becomes the newest addition to the Eagles’ attack.

Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, Lillback comes to Fort Myers having scored 41 goals in her last 40 plus matches with her club Bollstanas SK – who she’s been playing for since the age of five. By the time she was 14, Lillback found herself competing in the Elitetann League – the second division – which garnered her an invitation to camp with the Sweden National Team after her first season.

In 2017 and 2018, the Stockholm native was dubbed the club’s Player of the Year as she received the Golden Boot this past fall season. Following a breakout 2018 campaign, Lillback was invited to the Under 20 National Team Camp this past December.

“We are excited to have Louise join our program and have the ability to enroll in the spring to start the process,” said head coach Jim Blankenship. “Her experience as a striker at the National Team will add to an already explosive attack.”
