Four new teams take over top spots in latest College Soccer Rankings
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 17, 2019) – United Soccer Coaches released the latest rankings for all levels of the NCAA and Junior College men’s and women’s soccer along with the first regular season rankings for the NCCAA on Tuesday. Four new teams took over the top spot in their respective ranking.

Wake Forest sits at No. 1 in the Division I men’s poll for the third consecutive week as the Demon Deacons are off to a 5-0 start. There is a new No. 1 team in the women’s poll as Virginia took over the top spot thanks to an 8-0 start.
In NCAA Division II, Adelphi took over the top spot in the men’s poll thanks to a 3-0 start to the season, while UC San Diego jumped up to grab the top spot in the women’s poll as the Tritons have started the year 4-0.
At the NCAA Division III level, Tufts University continues its hold on the top spot in the men’s ranking with a 4-0 start to the year, while William Smith College took over the top spot in the women’s ranking thanks to a 4-0 start.
The men’s and women’s teams from Monroe College-New Rochelle are both 5-0 to start the season and both are ranked No. 1 in the Junior College Division I polls for the second straight week. There was no change at the top of the Junior College Division III polls either with Mount San Antonio College and Richland College standing pat at the top of the men’s and women’s rankings, respectively.
Oklahoma Wesleyan is No. 1 in the first NCCAA Division I men’s poll of the season, while Trinity Christian College is tops in the women’s ranking. In NCCAA Division II, Pensacola Christian College is No. 1 in the men’s poll, with Grace Christian University sitting in the top spot in the women’s ranking.
United Soccer Coaches college rankings, released every Tuesday during the regular season, are an indicator of the week-to-week status of qualified programs and in no way should be used as a guide or indicator of eligibility for championship selection. To be eligible for consideration in United Soccer Coaches college rankings, a school must be a member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program.
