Fredericksburg Cup boys weekend results

The Fredericksburg Cup concluded this past weekend with boys’ weekend, as champions were crowned in seven age groups from Under-10 through U-19.
• Fredericksburg Cup High School – Richmond Strikers Spain defeated FASA Premier White 2-0 in the final after both finished atop their respective brackets. FASA finished 3-0-0 atop its bracket, while the Strikers finished 2-0-1 atop its bracket.
• Boys U-16 – FASA Hotspur 97 Elite defeated Roanoke Star U-15 Premier 1-0 in the final. FASA Hotspur 97 Elite finished 3-0-0 atop its bracket, while Roanoke Star tied atop its group with FASA Premier U-15 Fusion with seven points each and identical goals scored and conceded.
• Boys U-14 – FASA Elite defeated Chesterfield United FC 98B ASL Academy 2-0 in the final.
• Boys U-13 – Chesterfield United FC 99 defeated Mechanicsville 2-0 in the final of the bracket.
• Boys U-12 – SAC United Premier Blue of Maryland defeated Arlington United Blue 10-1 in the final.
• Boys U-11 – Richmond Strikers Premier defeated FCSC United 01 Black 6-0 in the final, outscoring opponents 36-1 over the weekend.
• Boys U-10 – Chesterfield United FC 02 defeated Tidewater Sharks U-10 Black 5-1 in the final. Tidewater Sharks had defeated Chesterfield 2-0 during bracket play on Saturday.
