Georgetown men’s soccer signs transfer Stefan Stojanovic

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University head men’s soccer coach Brian Wiese announced the addition of transfer Stefan Stojanovic to the 2021 roster. The junior forward join the eight newcomers as the Hoyas look to return to the NCAA Tournament in 2021 which will be Wiese’s 16th on the Hilltop.

“We knew Stefan very well from the recruiting process, and we are excited to have him joining the program as a transfer,” said Wiese. “He is the kind of forward that fits into our system very well and we think he will thrive here at Georgetown.”

At St. Louis: Tallied a goal and two assists for four points in 29 appearances at SLU … Played in 12 games with three starts managing a goal and an assist his sophomore campaign … Appeared in all 17 games with eight starts as a freshman tallying an assist that season … Participated in the U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team camp in January 2020 at IMG Academy in Florida.

Prior to Georgetown: Was the captain of his U-19 Sockers FC Academy team scoring 62 goals in his five-year Academy career … A member of the U.S. U-18 Men’s National Team … Rated a Top 30 prospect by TopDrawerSoccer.com … Selected to the U-17 Central Conference Best XI list.
