Girls Academy holds Talent ID Event for Frontier Conference

The Girls Academy (GA) hosted its Talent ID Event for the Frontier Conference on Sunday, June 13 at BVB Texas-International in Carrollton, Texas.

Players were selected for the event based on their strong performances in GA competition, with recommendations originating from U.S. Soccer scouts, GA Talent ID representatives and club leadership.

Standout players from GA clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado participated in the Talent ID Event throughout the day on Sunday, with training sessions in the morning and games in the afternoon. Rosters were composed of top prospects from the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 age groups.

Through the GA’s relationship with the U.S. Soccer scouting department, the league’s Talent ID Events will serve as a key piece in helping to identify talent for U.S. Youth National Teams.

College coaches were in attendance at the event.
