Girls ECNL renews partnership for 2nd annual ICC Futures Tournament
RICHMOND, VA (Via ECNL) – The Girls Elite Clubs National League is excited to renew its partnership with the International Champions Cup (ICC) by supporting the 2019 ICC Futures Tournament. The second annual ICC Futures Tournament will be held December 10-16, 2019 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, and this year will include a new U15 girls age group.
The ICC Futures Tournament will feature twelve U15 girls teams, including international clubs from some of the top girls youth academies in the world and four ICC Regional All-Star Teams. The ICC Regional All-Star team selection process will be powered by ECNL coaches around the country. ICC Regional All-Star teams powered by the ECNL will include top players throughout each of the four regions: West, Midwest, South and East. Any player, regardless of club background or league affiliation, is available for selection.

“The ICC Regional All-Star Teams powered by the ECNL will provide young players experience in great international competition, in an incredible environment, and alongside the best players in the country,” said ECNL President Christian Lavers. “We support the ICC in bringing selected players together for representative competition using the network of the ECNL, and feel this format will provide the best level of competition, insure that the most deserving players are selected, and provide a unique learning experience.
