GK David Bingham replaces Brad Guzan on USMNT training camp roster
CHICAGO (Via U.S. Soccer) – U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Bruce Arena has called goalkeeper David Bingham to the team’s upcoming training camp in San Jose, California.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper joins the MNT roster as a replacement for Brad Guzan, who will miss the camp as he and his wife are expecting the birth of their second child in the coming days.
Bingham will join the 24-player MNT roster as it convenes in San Jose ahead of USA-Honduras, presented by Volpi Foods, on March 24 at Avaya Stadium at 7:30 p.m. PT on FS1, UniMas and UDN. Four days later, the U.S. travels to take on Panama at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, live at 10 p.m. ET on beIN Sports, Telemundo and NBC Universo.
Having made his international debut in 2016, Bingham has earned three caps for the U.S. Men’s National Team and last appeared in the MNT’s 1-0 win against Jamaica on Feb. 3, 2017. Bingham has also backstopped the San Jose Earthquakes in both of their wins this season, keeping a clean sheet in the team’s 1-0 victory against the Montreal Impact on March 4.
