Indiana men’s soccer team signs four more Hoosiers to 2025 roster

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana men’s soccer head coach Todd Yeagley announced four additions for the 2025 season, set to join the program in the coming fall.

The quartet includes three freshmen – Jayvyn Jackson of Orlando, Florida, Judewellin Michel from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Colton Swan from Detroit, Michigan – as well as one graduate transfer, Ben Do from Penn.

Ben Do | Defender | Graduate Transfer | Seaside, Calif. | Penn

Ben Do was a three-year starter from 2022-24 at Penn, where he earned honorable mention All-Ivy honors all three seasons and led the Quakers to the NCAA Tournament as a sophomore and senior. In his 51 games played, the Quakers held opponents to 40 goals (0.78 goals per game) and totaled 24 clean sheets. Do recorded one goal and 10 assists at Penn.

“Ben is a high-level outside back with the versatility to play on either flank,” Yeagley said. “His attacking qualities and winning mentality align perfectly with our team culture, and we’re excited to welcome him to the program this fall.”

Jayvyn Jackson starred at Colonial High School, where he scored 35 goals in 15 matches as a senior – a total that ranked No. 15 nationally according to MaxPreps.com. Jackson also played club for OFC Barca in the United Premier Soccer League and helped his team to a UPSL Central Florida title.

“Jayvyn is a dynamic attacker with elite pace and physicality,” Yeagley said. “A proven goal scorer on the national stage, he brings a relentless energy and spark to our attacking group. We are eager to see the impact he’ll make at IU.”

Judewellin Michel | Goalkeeper | Freshman | Montreal, Quebec, Canada | CF Montréal

Judewellin Michel is a CF Montréal product and was one of eight academy players invited to first team preseason training camp as the club prepares for the 2025 Major League Soccer season. In 2022, Michel led his team representing Quebec win the Canada Summer Games and earned Most Valuable Player honors.

“Jude arrives with an impressive pedigree from CF Montréal’s academy, bringing high-level experience to our goalkeeping unit,” Yeagley said. “His shot-stopping ability, along with his size and athleticism, combine to make him a standout talent. We’re excited about the impact he’ll have at IU and his bright future ahead.”

Colton Swan | Forward | Freshman | Detroit, Mich. | Colorado Rapids

A four-star recruit according to Top Drawer Soccer, forward Colton Swan has recorded 64 goals and 26 assists in his club career between Michigan Jags and his current club, the Colorado Rapids Academy. As an Under-16 player, Swan was his age group’s MLS Cup Golden Boot winner as the tournament’s top scorer. At U15, he was a United States Youth Soccer National Champion.

“Colton is one of the premier front-runners in the country, and we believe he can make an immediate impact in our attack this fall,” Yeagley said. “He is a lethal finisher inside the box, and especially in the air, making him a key addition to our squad.”
