Intrasquad play continues at U.S. U-15 BNT Festival

(Via U.S. Soccer) Rounding out the first day of the Under-15 Boy’s National Team Festival, ‘Team Gold Cup’ defeated ‘Team Olympic’ 2-1. In the 18th minute, Isaac Angking struck the ball past the goalie to give Gold Cup the lead. Just 10 minutes later, Misa Becerra equalized going into halftime.

The tied score was finally disrupted in the 67th minute by Josh Sargent, taking a one-touch to send the ball into the net, giving Gold Cup the lead until the final whistle.

In the friendly penalty kick shootout following the match, Olympic took the 9-8 win.
