Javier Perez calls 24 players for U.S. U-18 MNT camp in Carson, Calif.

CHICAGO (Via U.S. Soccer) – U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team head coach Javier Perez has called 24 players to the National Training Center in Carson, California for a domestic training camp, which runs from Oct. 20–26 and features a pair of friendly matches against Canada.

The team will square off with Canada on Friday, Oct. 23 and Sunday Oct. 25.

The U-18s were last in action in August, when they took fifth place in the Open Nordic Cup in Sweden. There the team defeated Faroe Islands 2-0 and Finland 2-1 in the first gathering of the team for this new cycle. Fourteen players from that group are back in for this camp.

The roster includes players from 13 states, with one player, Angel Ureibe coming from Tijuana Mexico. Every player on the roster was born in 1999. Twenty-one players have ties to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.
