Richmond, Va. – More than 1,700 teams have been accepted to compete in the 2022 Jefferson Cup, which is set to feature four weekends of competition.

Brackets have been posted across the U9-U19 age groups for both boys and girls divisions. The prestigious tournament will begin March 12-13 with the U9-U14 Boys Weekend. That will be followed by the U9-U14 Girls Weekend (March 19-20), the U15-U19 Girls Showcase (March 25-27) and the U15-U19 Boys Showcase (April 1-3). Each of the four weekends will host over 400 teams.

Teams accepted into the tournament are highly-accomplished members of the nation’s most competitive leagues, including the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), Girls Academy, MLS NEXT, US Youth Soccer National League and US Club Soccer National Premier Leagues (NPL), among others.

Top brackets were previously announced via social media. Teams in the Jefferson Cup’s Championship Brackets represent elite clubs from across the country, ranging from throughout the East Coast, to Texas, to the West Coast, and many states in between.
