Jefferson Cup Boys Weekend, Day 3 photo gallery

There’s always plenty to celebrate on a day three of the Jefferson Cup.
Rallies by teams to take the top spots in their brackets, players celebrating individual accomplishments, great plays and great weekends all around, and trophies and medals being awarded.
While we have just a sampling of the bevy of accomplishments by the hundreds of teams in the Richmond area for the 2013 Jefferson Cup Boys Weekend, it does offer a taste of the high quality of play on display, which went on from the opening whistle at the opening kickoff in the blustery conditions, through Saturday’s play as teams continued to show their competitive mettle, to the final play on the final day as site cleanups were well underway.
More than 1,600 teams sought entry into this year’s Jefferson Cup, and just over 900 boys and girls teams are playing over the course of the two year event.
