LMVSC names Jon Norem as new Director of Travel and Coaches

(Via LMVSC) – The Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club (LMVSC) has named Jon Norem as the new Director of Travel and Coaches for the Travel Soccer Program, starting August 1, 2017.

He will be responsible for establishing and maintaining direction and initiatives for the Travel Soccer Program and for the Travel Soccer Coaches.

“I’m excited to join a club with such rich history, and working alongside the club’s technical staff, Este [Maldonado] and Justin [O’Shell],” Norem said. “I’m looking forward to working with excellent coaches and players within the Club Centric platform for player development and bringing players into the next level. I’m excited to share that exact same philosophy that I support.”

Norem holds a USSF ‘A’ Soccer Coaching License, a NSCAA Advanced Regional Goal Keeping Diploma, as well as a NSCAA National Youth Diploma. He brings 19 years of coaching experience at the High School and Club level of competition, along with four years as a starter at the collegiate soccer level at Shenandoah University. He has experience playing and training internationally while participating on the Mid-Atlantic All-Star USA Teams during his youth.
