Loudoun Soccer coach Mark Ryan awarded Virginia Youth Soccer Association 2014 Boys Competitive Coach of the Year
Leesburg, VA (Via Loudoun Soccer) – Loudoun Soccer coach Mark Ryan has been awarded the Virginia Youth Soccer Association 2014 Boys Competitive Coach of the Year as well as the US Youth Soccer Region I 2014 Boys Competitive Coach of the Year.
The Competitive Coach of the Year is awarded to a competitive coach for both a boys’ team and a girls’ team for his or her coaching activities, sportsmanship, player development, personal coaching development and citizenship. The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) presents the award each year at its annual Soccer Convention to honor special individuals for their service and accomplishments in soccer in the state of Virginia. The national Boys and Girls Competitive Coaches of the Year are announced at the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala, as a part of the US Youth Soccer Workshop.
Mark Ryan has been at Loudoun Soccer for three years and is now heading into his fourth. Along with his responsibilities as the Travel Director for Loudoun Soccer, Coach Ryan is also the Head Coach for the Northern District of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) in the state of Virginia. Earlier this summer, Coach Ryan topped off a successful year at the US Youth Soccer National Championships with his Loudoun 98 Boys Red team.

He has had a positive impact on the lives of many youth at Loudoun Soccer, in the state of Virginia, and across the Region.”

The USYS Region I Competitive Coach of the Year Award presentation will be held January 16, 2015 in Philadelphia, PA. The VYSA Competitive Coach of the Year Award presentation will be held January 2015 in Arlington, VA.
