Miles Robinson departs USMNT camp due to hamstring strain

CHICAGO (Oct. 12, 2019) – U.S. Men’s National Team defender Miles Robinson has departed USMNT roster training camp ahead of the team’s Concacaf Nations League match on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Canada due to a left hamstring strain.
The 22-year-old defender suffered the injury in a training session following Friday night’s 7-0 Nations League win against Cuba in Washington, D.C. He returned to Atlanta this morning for further evaluation.
Robinson will not be replaced on the roster, which now stands at 24 players.
The USMNT plays it second Concacaf Nations League A, Group A match when it visits Canada on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in Toronto. Coverage of USA-Canada from BMO Field begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2, UniMás and TUDN.
