NCAA Men’s and Women’s Soccer Rankings: April 6, 2021

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — United Soccer Coaches released the latest NCAA Division I and II Men’s and Women’s National Rankings.

Pittsburgh claimed the No. 1 in the men’s poll and Florida State continues to sit atop the women’s poll. For Divisions II, Charleston sits atop the men’s poll and Dallas Baptist maintains its top spot on the women’s poll.

Pittsburgh continued it’s campaign up the polls this week to reach No. 1, while improving to 12-2-0. Georgetown claimed the No. 2 spot this week, while Clemson fell to No. 3. Rounding out the Top 5 are Wake Forest in fourth and Stanford in fifth.

For the NCAA Division I Women’s National Rankings, the Top 3 remained the same this week with Florida State claiming No. 1, followed by North Carolina in second and TCU in third. UCLA moved up one spot to No. 4 and West Virginia dropped one spot to No. 5.

On the Division II Men’s side, the University of Charleston held on to the No. 1 spot for a third consecutive week. Franklin Pierce also maintained its hold on the second spot for a second week in a row. Rounding out the Top 5 are Lander in No. 3, Indianapolis in No. 4, and Point Loma Nazarene taking the fifth spot.

Dallas Baptist maintains its top spot this week with a 10-0-1 record. Grand Valley State and Flagler both moved up one place each to take the No. 2 and No. 3 spots respectively. Minnesota State University-Mankato improved to fourth this week and Mississippi College went from ninth last week to fifth.

To be eligible for consideration in United Soccer Coaches college rankings, a school must be a member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program.
