New England Revolution Academy teams enjoy winning weekend
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (Via New England Revolution) – The New England Revolution’s Under-18, Under-16, and Under-14 teams were all back in action at Gillette Stadium on May 1. The U-18s and U-16s Played Empire United; while the U-14s played Cedar Stars Academy.

WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS
- Forward Gabriel Meireles scored for a third consecutive week. He now has 11 goals on the season.
- Defender Calvin Aroh recorded his first goal of the season. Previously he recorded an assist on November 8 at Montreal.
- Midfielder Kevin Vang made his first appearance with the U-18s and recorded an assist on Aroh’s goal.
- Goalkeeper Trey Miller posted his fourth shutout of the season. Miller has allowed just two goals in four matches since the beginning of 2016, good for a goals against average of 0.50.
- Midfielder Elio Firmino recorded his first goal at the U-16 level. Firmino has recorded five goals with the U-14s this year.
