New No. 1 team featured in Girls Spring 2022 High School Soccer Rankings
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — United Soccer Coaches released the latest spring high school boys’ and girls’ soccer rankings, on Tuesday. Harrison (Kennesaw, Ga.) remains in No. 1 on the boys’ poll this week, while Oregon (Oregon, Wis.) takes No. 1 on the girls’ poll.
The boys’ poll saw some new faces this week. Harrison (Kennesaw, Ga.) remained in first, Riverside (Greer, S.C.) moved from the No. 14 spot to second, and Gretna (Gretna, Neb.) and The Baylor School (Chattanooga, Tenn.) tied for third. Johnson (Gainesville, Fla.) remained in fifth this week.
The girls’ poll saw a large shakeup with Oregon (Oregon, Wis.) claiming No. 1, followed by Wando (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) leaping from No. 24 to the No. 2 spot, and South County (Lorton, Va.) falling from No. 2 to No. 3. To round out the Top 5, Grandview (Aurora, Colo.) claimed fourth and St. Dominic (O’Fallon, Mo.) went from unranked to fifth.
