New Winter High School Rankings released by United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — United Soccer Coaches released the latest regular season high school boys’ and girls’ winter soccer rankings.

Jesuit (New Orleans, La.) took over the top spot this week thanks to a 12-0-1 record. Wakeland (Frisco, Texas) jumped five spots into the No. 2 ranking. Spruce Creek (Port Orange, Fla.) was third followed by Northwest Rankin (Brandon, Miss.) and Seven Lakes (Katy, Texas) rounding out the top five.

St. Mary’s Dominican (New Orleans, La.) is atop the girls’ ranking for the second straight week. The Nos. 2-4 teams remained the same as well in St. John’s Country Day School (Orange Park, Fla.), Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) and Flower Mound (Flower Mound, Texas). Highland Park (Dallas, Texas) rounded out the top five in the girls’ poll.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only states competing in the winter season are considered for the rankings.
