Nicole Hercules appointed to United Soccer Coaches Board of Directors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Nicole Hercules has been appointed to the United Soccer Coaches Board of Directors.
“I want to thank Dr. David Carr, Rusty Oglesby, and Heather Dyche for their leadership,” said Hercules. “I look forward to being able to spend the next year serving and positively impacting the United Soccer Coaches membership. I love this game and I love this association. I am incredibly proud of the work that I have been able to do with the Black Soccer Coaches Community. I am ready to get to work in support of all coaches in the United Soccer Coaches family.”
A United Soccer Coaches Member since 2014, Hercules has previously served as Chair of the Black Coaches Community and is the Chief Executive Officer of NMH Consulting and Rochester City Soccer League.
Hercules has held head coaching stints at Bishop Kearney High School, Wagner Soccer Academy, and in the Rochester City School District, in addition to holding an assistant head coaching position for the Rochester Lancers. Before moving into coaching, Hercules was a professional soccer player for the Rochester Rhinos and the Rochester Ravens in the W-League.
“We are excited to welcome Nicole Hercules to the Board of Directors of United Soccer Coaches,” said David Carr, United Soccer Coaches President. “She brings significant executive leadership, coaching and management experience to the association, the home for all coaches. She has built strong relationships in professional sports, community development and outreach and in business. We are looking forward to working with her.”
With the addition of Hercules, the association has welcomed four new members of the Board of Directors over the past two months: Mike Lynch, elected fourth Vice President; Dan Woog, appointed Advocacy Council Chair; Eden Brown Gaines, appointed member for legal affairs; and Hercules, appointed member for business and marketing.
The United Soccer Coaches Board of Directors is led by the following 11 members of the association, including six individuals elected by the membership, four at-large representatives appointed by the President and the Advocacy Council Chair.
The Board of Directors now consists of the following individuals:

Fourth Vice President: Mike Lynch

At-Large Representative: Dan Woog
In addition, United Soccer Coaches CEO Geoff VanDeusen is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors.
