Ole Miss signs forward Stella Downing on transfer from Memphis
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss head soccer coach Matt Mott has announced the signing of transfer forward Stella Downing to the 2021 signing class. Downing is set to join the Rebels for the 2021 season.
The Vancouver native brings a season of collegiate experience with her to Oxford after transferring from Memphis. Downing looks to step in and give the Rebels some extra firepower on offense.
Downing becomes the 10th member of the Rebels’ incoming freshmen class, joining Maddie Bishop, Whitaker Buchanan, Amber Fortenberry, Kaitlin Maynard, Ellie McIntyre, Lauren Montgomery, Alyssa Zalac, Lily Logan and spring enrollee Shea O’Malley.
