PDP hosted by New York Club Soccer League taps into Tri-State talent
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Via US Club Soccer) – The New York Club Soccer League (NYCSL) hosted its first US Club Soccer PDP event of the fall, Sept. 13 at Pace University in Westchester County, N.Y.
More than 80 girls and 50 boys from the Tri-State area participated, as the event targeted U-12 through U-14 girls and 2002-03 boys. Several top performing players have already been recommended for inclusion to the upcoming id2 Training Camp at PDA Soccer Complex in Somerset, N.J., Sept. 24-27.
“Nominations were received from over 60 clubs within the NYCSL NPL territory,” NYCSL Technical Director John Curtis said. “It was great to see those new players add quality and depth to the overall program.”
The NYCSL will host another PDP in October and then introduce older age groups at PDPs in November and December.
