Pipeline SC to open 6,000 square foot Pipeline Performance Center this year
Pipeline Soccer Club announced today the club’s investment in a state-of-the-art, 6000 square foot training center in White Marsh, Md.
Pipeline founders Sean Rush and Santino Quaranta informed the club’s membership of over 1,000 players that the Pipeline Performance Center (PPC) is scheduled to be completed by November 1, 2020.
The PPC will provide the club’s 66 boys and girls teams with indoor space for training on a 4,000 square foot turf field, as well as access to fitness training, strength and conditioning, and physical therapy treatment (2021). The facility will also have space for club meetings and for classroom and video instruction.
Strategically located between the club’s outdoor facilities in Baltimore and Bel Air, the Performance Center will feature as a hub for the entire club, while offering growth into a new demographic. Pipeline will open the third site of their Recreation Program (PDA) for the aspiring future Pipeline star inside the facility.
“The Performance Center will create a training environment like no other in the area,” said Quaranta. “A major reason for my success as a young player was being taught how to train and seeing results both mentally and physically. The feeling of having a state-of-the-art facility and growth mindset will ensure players meet their goals at all levels.”
Pipeline SC, which was founded just nine years ago by Rush and Quaranta, both of whom played professionally and began their careers playing for Baltimore area club soccer teams, has produced 230 collegiate soccer players over the last four years and has achieved 16 state, four regional and two national championships.
“Pipeline is excited to make this investment in our club, our players and in all youth soccer in Baltimore and Maryland,” Rush said. “This facility will give our players and our teams an even greater opportunity for development and success. It will allow them to train harder, smarter and safer and to reach the fullness of their playing potential, which is why we founded Pipeline.”
The facility will also be available for individual and group training for players both inside of outside of Pipeline SC. The sessions will be led by members of Pipeline’s coaching staff, overseen by Quaranta, who possesses an A License and who played for the U.S. Men’s National Team and Major League Soccer.
Club dues will not be raised in the 2020-21 season to fund this expansion. To view an architectural rendering and for more information about the facility, visit www.pipelinesoccerclub.com.
