Pipeline Soccer Club joins ECNL Boys Northeast Conference for 2020-2021 season
RICHMOND, VA – The ECNL Boys has announced that Pipeline Soccer Club will join the league in the 2020-2021 season as a member of the Northeast Conference.
“Pipeline has consistently proven to be a national force within US Youth Soccer competition,” said ECNL Boys Commissioner Jason Kutney. “It is exciting to welcome them into our league, especially as we continue to strengthen each conference. The league continues to grow in a very positive direction due to the high standards of its members, on and off the field.”
A highly decorated club within US Youth Soccer competition for nearly the last decade, Pipeline SC has won two USYS National Championships in the past four years, as well as four Regional Championships, and 16 State Championships since the club was founded in 2011. Proving to be an excellent developer of young talent, the club has seen more than 230 players advance into college soccer over the last four years alone.
“Pipeline Soccer Club is honored to be a part of the ECNL for the 2020-2021 season,” said club co-founder Santino Quaranta, an ex-MLS and US National Team standout. “The proven pathway and player initiatives align with Pipeline’s standards on and off the field. We look forward to establishing great relationships with the top clubs in the country for years to come.”
Pipeline SC has more than 66 competitive club teams and over 1,000 recreational players. The club is an affiliate of DC United of Major League Soccer, offering pathways to players from youth to professional.
Additional new clubs for the ECNL Boys 2020-2021 season will be announced in the coming days.
