Players to Watch: ECNL Girls Florida National Event (Winter 2025)
The ECNL Girls Florida National Event is coming up January 11-13 as top teams from around the country will go head-to-head in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
ECNL Florida will be the first ECNL National Event of the 2025 calendar year, a college recruiting ramps back up following the dead period. A total of 230 teams across the U16-U18/19 age groups will be competing in the showcase. (COLLEGE COACHES)

2028
Tingley is a talented Class of 2028 winger who shined in the ECNL Girls National Playoffs last season, and secured First Team honors in the ECNL Southeast Conference for the 2023-24 campaign. She has remained a key contributor this season for Concorde Fire Platinum 09, serving as a consistent playmaker on the attacking side. (HIGHLIGHTS)
Excels at making long throws and sharp passes out of the box, which often become the starting point for deep runs and scoring chances for the Cleveland Force 09 attack. Ostrander shined at last season’s ECNL North Carolina National Event, where she led Cleveland to 3 straight clean sheets.

Maddie Vallier | Forward
Concorde Fire Platinum 09 (GA)
Coming off a season in which she was named Player of the Year in the ECNL’s Southeast Conference at the U15 level, Vallier has guided Concorde Fire Platinum 09 to a 13-2-4 record this season, as they sit tied atop the table. Led by Vallier, Concorde Fire has racked up a whopping 50 goals in just 13 games.

Ella Carr | Forward
Sting Austin 09 (TX)
Ella is a complete forward that can score, create, link the game and press relentlessly. She is the youngest player on a top Sting Austin 09 team, and her soccer IQ is highly advanced for her age. She recently scored 3 goals for the England U-15 Women’s Youth National Team against Norway back in November at the UEFA Developmental Tournament.

Samantha Cancellare | Forward
Arlington Soccer 08 (VA)
Cancellare had a strong showing at the ECNL St. Louis National Event, scoring 3 goals on the weekend while proving to be a constant threat to the other team every time she touched the ball. She created multiple chances and also contributed with solid defensive work. She is one of the elite attackers of the 2028 class, averaging a goal per game in the tough Mid-Atlantic Conference.

Addison Staats | Forward
Solar SC 08 (TX)
Staats stepped into play with Solar SC’s 2008 squad during the ECNL Phoenix National Event and made a major impact, which has garnered her the opportunity to continue playing up. Playing outside back for the team, she has earned two assists and is great at the 1v1 tackles. Addison is a 2010 and has played in the US Soccer National and Talent ID Camps.
2027
Well established as one of the best Class of 2027 players in the ECNL’s North Atlantic Conference, Hanf has been selected for the ECNL Conference Cup each of the past two seasons. Recently, she represented Match Fit on the national stage at ECNL St. Louis, when she got to compete in the National Selection Game.
A promising goalkeeper prospect in the Class of 2027 for Florida Premier 09, Baird was named First Team All-Conference in the ECNL’s Southeast Conference for 2023-24. In addition to serving as team captain for Florida Premier, Baird is a star for Alonso High School where she’s one of the top-rated players in the Tampa Bay area.
This fall, Di Muccio helped Albertus Magnus High School finish the season ranked 10th in the country this fall by United Soccer Coaches. After an outstanding fall on the high school side, the talented forward / midfielder ramps up ECNL competition with World Class FC 09. Di Muccio recently showed her versatility at ECNL St. Louis, playing a variety of positions between striker and throughout the midfield.
A standout attacking player for Charlotte Soccer Academy 09, Chin was honored as a First Team All-ECNL Mid Atlantic Conference player for the 2023-24 season. She has helped CSA get off to anther strong start in ECNL action this season, winning 7 of their first 10 games.
Jordan Reigrod
Reigrod supported #1 ranked high school team, Rutgers Prep to a county, Prep B and state title in the fall, ending the season named to the NJ Coach’s selected all-star first team. These accomplishment were preceded by the Golden Glove award after winning the Nike Premier international tournament with her PDA Legacy teammates while competing against teams from all over the world. Most recently, Reigrod went undefeated in St. Louis at the ECNL even where she split time competing with her Legacy team and PDA Blue 08 Wildfire.
Kayla has proven to be a strong asset for PDA South 09. During the recent ECNL Showcase in St. Louis, she competed at multiple positions on the field, showing her versatility. In her fall high school season with the Manalapan HS varsity team, she ended the season with an impressive 11 goals and 8 assists. She was named “a player to watch” multiple times during her high school season, and was chosen as MVP for the girls varsity soccer sectional semifinals, scoring the only 2 goals of the game.

Aidan Kownacki | Defender
Northern Virginia Alliance 09 (VA)
Kownacki is a 6’1” center back who dominates in the air and has great tempo and speed when on the ball. She often takes the ball up through the middle to play through balls to her forwards, setting up quick strike opportunities for the NVA attack.

Aniston Crabtree | Midfielder
Sporting Blue Valley 09 (MO)
One of the standout players for Sporting Blue Valley’s 09s, Crabtree played up in the 06/07 age group at the recent ECNL Showcase in St. Louis. Crabtree was a first-team ECNL all-conference pick last season and has been described as “a bit of a unicorn” for her creative ability while remaining a force on the defensive side of the ball. Top Drawer Soccer ranks her at No. 161 in the IMG Academy Top 200.

Madeleine Sicat | Defender
Richmond United 08 (VA)
Sicat has helped her Richmond United 08 ECNL team to an undefeated season (7-0-3) so far, making them a team to watch for the 2025 ECNL Champions League Playoffs. She can play center back and outside back, and is technical building out of the back with her feet to disrupt the forwards pressing the back line. She’s been a Finalist at Futsal Nationals, and excels at anticipating when to attack/drive forward and make disruptive passes to break lines.
2026
The team captain for Sting Austin 08, Wiele recently verbally committed to play for Texas Tech as a member of the Class of 2026. One of the top-rated defenders / midfielders in her class, Wiele is coming off a First Team ECNL All-Texas Conference selection and has USWYNT experience.
One of the best overall center backs from the Class of 2026, Young has verbally committed to play for national powerhouse Stanford. She had some strong performances representing the U.S. U-16 Women’s Youth National Team in 2024 at the the UEFA Friendship Tournament in Turkey.
Representing Charlotte Independence 08, Mathers is an ultra-competitive defender who’s skillful on and off the ball. Piper loves breaking lines and creating numbers up into the attacking third, and she has a dangerous shot from distance. In addition to playing in the ECNL, she has represented Charlotte Eagles in the USL W League at the U20 level. She’s a Class 4A State Champion in North Carolina for Track and Field as well.
Hard-nosed outside back who likes to get in on the attack. Look for her to drive down the line, setting up her teammates with a precise cross for the finish. Always working back to stop any counter attacks.
Uncommitted 2026 Washington Premier 08 forward coming off a solid (weather-shortened) ECNL St. Louis performance which included an assist and the go-ahead goal vs. WNY Flash. Coates has 3 goals and 1 assist in 4 games (2 division and 2 showcase) on the season.
Kennedy Jackson | Goalkeeper
Washington Premier 08 (WA)
The uncommitted 2026 Washington Premier 08 goalkeeper helped the Northwest Team win the 2024 ECNL Conference Cup in Southern California. Jackson has been selected for both editions of the Conference Cup, and she earned All-ECNL Northwest Conference honors last season.

FC Dallas 08 (TX)
An integral piece on the back line and all over the field for FC Dallas 08 ECNL, Hubbard earned First Team All-ECNL Texas Conference honors for the 2023-24 campaign. She was also selected for the ECNL Conference Cup over the summer, and has helped the team get off to another strong start this season. Hubbard recently represented FC Dallas in the ECNL Phoenix National Selection Game as well.

Jackson is an elite defensive midfielder and defender recognized for her outstanding tactical intelligence, stamina, and ability to dominate 1v1 matchups. Excelling in the midfield, she also plays anywhere on the backline with ease. She is elite at intercepting passes, breaking up opposition plays, and providing a reliable shield for the back line. With precise passing and composure under pressure, she seamlessly transitions defense into attack, making her an indispensable presence in both defensive and build-up phases.

Las Vegas Heat Surf 08 (NV)
A member of the Dominican Republic Women’s Youth National Team roster pool, Ortiz recently won a FIFA UNCAF Cup Silver Medal in Costa Rica. The talented defender has also impressed at several ECNL events with her on-field awareness, aggressiveness to prevent attacks and elite speed in 1v1 situations. She frequently links up with the attack, providing highly accurate passes, speedy overlapping runs and is fearless pushing the ball up field to set up her teammates for success.

Abby Huisman | Midfielder / Defender
Fairfax Virginia Union 08 (VA)
Huisman is a versatile player who excels as a center defensive midfielder and center back for Fairfax Virginia Union ECNL 08 and Robinson Secondary School’s varsity team. She has been competing at the highest level of soccer since U13 ECNL, earned All-District Honorable Mention honors for her defensive performances, and has been a two-year player for the U23 WPSL Dutch Lions team based out of Washington, D.C.

Atlanta Fire United 08 (GA)
Ferguson is the team captain and a strong defensive-minded midfielder who leads her Atlanta Fire United 08 team in minutes, tackles and assists this season. The uncommitted Class of 2026 prospect is also a standout holding midfielder for Mill Creek High School’s varsity team.

Leah Flannery | Midfielder / Defender
Richmond United 08 (VA)
This uncommitted 2026 midfielder/defender makes her return to an ECNL event since suffering an ACL injury last January. Since returning to play in November, she has looked dangerous and dynamic on the attack and rarely loses a 1v1 battle on defense. Her versatility at midfield, outside back, or wingback is an added bonus. She is part of a strong Richmond United side that currently sits in 3rd place in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.

Mia Conrad | Midfielder / Defender
FC Prime 08 (FL)
Conard orchestrates a staunch defense for a 2008 FC Prime team that has won each of its 11 ECNL games this year. A tough-as-nails central defensive midfielder, Mia creates an astonishing number of opposing turnovers. In transition, she is a calm, two-footed player with excellent vision, helping her team to 52 goals scored through their 11 games.
2025
The NCAA D1 recruit has received accolades from the NCHSAA all three years of her high school career including All State, All Region, All Conference, Offense and Defense of the Year. She tied most goals during the 23-24 NCHSAA season for her conference. Morgan reads the game at a high-level and she will bring her skills to Appalachian State in Fall 2025.
