Players to Watch: ECNL Girls Texas National Event (Winter 2025)

The ECNL Girls Texas National Event is coming up February 15-17 as top teams from around the country will go head-to-head in Dallas and Frisco, TX.
ECNL Texas will be a crucial showcase event for younger players looking to make positive first impressions on attending scouts, while many high school juniors and seniors will be playing in front of their future college coaches. A total of 210 teams across the U14-U18/19 age groups will be competing in the showcase. (COLLEGE COACHES)
Ahead of ECNL Texas, here are some players to know for the tournament. Players are listed according to their graduation year.

2029
A young goalkeeper to keep an eye on moving forward, Bearden possesses fantastic technical acumen with the ability to execute a variety of game-changing saves. She is dual-footed, allowing her to build from the back and effectively switch the point of attack.
This 2010-born soccer standout is the youngest player in UPSL Women history to both compete and score goals, showcasing her advanced skill and composure at an early age. King has been invited to the U.S. Youth National Team Talent ID program and identified by Lexington SC of the USL Super League, where she trained under Coach Mike Dickey.
As an attacking player for Eclipse Select SC 2010, Moreno has the quickness to create space in the final third, often manufacturing scoring chances off the dribble and with key passes. She has breakaway speed and the agility to work in tight spaces. Born in 2011, Moreno plays up a year on the Eclipse 2010 squad.

Maliyah Chesley | Defender
GSA 11 (GA)
Chesley is a solid outside wingback with excellent defensive anticipation and passing skills. Her ability to see the field, execute runs and advance the ball is well beyond her years. Maliyah plays aggressive, with purpose and leads her team in assists.

Riley Rountree | Forward
Eastside FC 10 (WA)
One of the top forwards in the nation from the Class of 2029, Rountree is the attacking spearhead for the back-to-back ECNL Northwest Conference champion Eastside FC 2010 squad. Rountree has been called into every USWYNT camp since she was 13 years old, and currently represents the U-15 USWYNT. She is able to constantly beat defenders by using her top-level dribbling skills and vision in order to score and assist her teammates.
2028
A talented winger and fullback for Sting Black 2009 ECNL, Baskin is a dynamic two-way contributor who thrives at turning defensive stops into scoring opportunities for her side. Baskin’s speed, aggressiveness and instincts exemplify what college coaches are looking for in potential recruits who can become game-changers from out of the back. (HIGHLIGHTS)
Kincaid has been selected for the ECNL Girls All-Conference Team in the Midwest for each of the past 2 seasons. In 2023, the highly-touted Class of 2028 midfielder helped lead the Midwest squad to the ECNL Conference Cup title. She’s been outstanding so far this season once again for KC Athletics 09 ECNL, after helping the team advance all the way to the ECNL National Finals last season. (HIGHLIGHTS)
After a strong performance at the ECNL St. Louis National Event in December, Leddy returns to showcase action with her Dallas Texans 2010 ECNL side in their home city. Leddy is a solid all-around outside back with impressive passing abilities and excellent anticipation. She wears the captain armband for the Texans, bringing sound leadership to her back line.

Georgia Restovich | Midfielder
SLSG Navy 09 (MO)
The younger sister of USWYNT and Notre Dame star Grace Restovich, Georgia is a budding star in her own right from the Class of 2028. Georgia was named the ECNL Midwest Conference U15 Player of the Year for the 2023-24 season, and earned ECNL All-American honors. She recently was part of a select group of elite youth players chosen to participate in NWSL club KC Current’s Academy Tour in Brazil.

Gabby Beinecke | Forward
Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy 09 (PA)
Following an outstanding tenure with Beadling SC in the Girls Academy, Beinecke is now representing Riverhounds Academy 09. The Class of 2028 forward has earned a pair of selections for the GA National Talent ID program, and an invite to USWYNT East Region ID Camp.

Domenique Sexton | Defender
Richmond United 10 (VA)
A dominant force at center back, she thrives in physical battles, makes clutch recovery runs, and delivers pinpoint long balls to spark the attack. Whether breaking lines with her dribbling or shutting down opponents, she can be a key playmaker on both ends of the pitch. Her strong communication keeps the backline organized, and she constantly praises teammates, elevating the team’s energy.
2027
Bialek has served as team captain for Match Fit’s 2008 ECNL squad for the past 3 years, and she’s ranked as a Top 20 defender for the Class of 2027 by Top Drawer Soccer. She has played on the varsity squad for Clarkstown North High School since 8th grade, earning All-Section, All-League and All-County in 2023 and 2024. She was named Elite 11 in 2023 and 2024, and was the first program’s first-ever sophomore to be named captain and MVP.
Pensamiento is a Class of 2027 winger who has been a solid contributor for Sting Austin 2009 ECNL and for Vandegrift High School, where she has been a varsity starter since her freshman season. With her speed, agility, and scoring prowess, she consistently demonstrates her ability to influence matches and contribute to her team’s success.
Currently in the middle of another standout campaign with Dallas Texans 2009 ECNL, Albin is a defensive force from her center back position. The team captain is coming off a 2023-24 season which saw her earn First Team All-ECNL Texas Conference honors, and could be building another strong case this season, after a standout performance at ECNL Florida.
Ricca is fresh off a phenomenal showing at the ECNL Florida National Event, where racked up 3 goals and 2 assists for PDA Legacy White 2009. Her showcase was highlighted by a goal in the opening seconds against Concorde Fire Premier.
The backstop of the Rockford Raptors 2009 ECNL defense, Olenek is a two-time US Youth Soccer ODP Midwest Regional Team selection, and a two-time USYNT Talent ID Camp selection. She’s been a member of the St. Charles East High School varsity team since her freshman year.
Kensington is a versatile athlete for Real Colorado 09 National, who can line up virtually anywhere on the field. She has earned numerous accolades, including being ranked in the prestigious IMG Top 100. She is a 3-time USYNT Talent ID Center invitee, a 2024 ECNL Conference Cup participant, and a member of the 2024 ECNL All-Conference First Team.
Ferroni has earned clean sheets in the past 8 of 9 games played this season, including two at the ECNL Florida showcase. A strong a vocal leader from the back, Ferroni is capable of making game-deciding plays.
Coming off an outstanding performance at ECNL Florida, Carolina looks to continue her dominance in goal in her home state against some tough competition. Her FC Dallas 08 squad will battle some other nationally-renowned opponents in SLSG Navy, Sporting Blue Valley and Minnesota Thunder. ECNL Texas will be Flores’ second showcase with her new team.

Madeline Maves | Defender / Midfielder
Seattle United 09 (WA)
U.S. Women’s Youth National Team roster pool member and ECNL All-American Maddie Maves is one of the most coveted prospects from the Class of 2027, as she moves toward her active recruiting window. Maves is a dominant force for Seattle United 09 ECNL, where she plays center back and in the central defensive midfield. She was named Player of the Year for the ECNL’s Northwest Conference last season at the U15 level.

Baylee Corcoran | Forward
Albion Hurricanes FC 09 (TX)
This explosive attacking player is going to be a high priority for some of the best college programs in the country, as they look to build their 2027 recruiting classes. Corcoran was named First Team All-Conference in the ECNL’s Texas Conference last season, in addition to being selected as an ECNL All-American. Corcoran’s game-breaking speed, quick trigger and powerful leg make her a nightmare to defend.

Ava Kling | Forward
Rockford Raptors 09 (IL)
Kling scored 2 goals and contributed an assist for Rockford Raptors FC 09 at the ECNL Florida National Event, and will look to build on her success at ECNL Texas. Kling is particularly adept at applying high pressure against her opponents, often forcing turnovers and creating quick scoring chances for herself and her teammates.

Arianna Villarreal | Defender
Dallas Texans 09 (TX)
An All-ECNL Texas Conference player from the 2023-24 season, Villarreal is once again putting together a solid campaign so far in 2024-25 for Dallas Texans 09. She opened 2025 with an impressive performance at ECNL Florida, making some strong contributions from her center back position as Dallas Texans conceded only 1 total goal over the course of 3 games.

Emily Krichbaum | Goalkeeper
Northern Virginia Alliance 07/06 (VA)
The Class of 2027 goalkeeper will be playing up with the Northern Virginia Alliance U18/19 team at ECNL Texas, as she’s been a standout with the NVA 2009 squad throughout the season. As a former center back turned keeper, Krichbaum has outstanding field vision and passing skills out of the back.

Utah Avalanche 09 (UT)
As a starting outside back, Burbidge has allowed zero goals and fewer than 10 shots from her side of the field in her last 25 games. A dynamic player, she has also contributed 2 goals and 2 assists this season.

Brianna Gibson | Midfielder
Albion Hurricanes FC 09 (TX)
Houston-based midfielder Brianna Gibson is a key playmaker for AHFC 09 ECNL and for Heights High School in Houston. Gibson has been named as a varsity captain for Heights this season, after being named Newcomer of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year in 2024. She racked up 10 assists for AHFC in ECNL action last season while also putting up eye-popping numbers on the high school side.
2026
Currently uncommitted, London Serafim is a 2-time 1st team All-ECNL Mid Atlantic Conference selection for the past 2 seasons. Coming back from an injury that occurred in March 2024, she’s poised for a strong showing against three solid Texas-based teams: Sting Royal, Sting Austin and DKSC.
An uncommitted Class of 2026 midfielder, Clark is a well-established attacking force for her Sting Austin 07/06 ECNL squad and for Lake Travis High School. Clark has ECNL National Selection Game experience and has been a top performer in US Club Soccer’s id2 program. On the high school side, she has earned MVP honors and All-State recognition in the prestigious Texas 6A division.
Recognized as one of the most explosive forwards in her class, the TCU commit was named to the United Soccer Coaches High School All-Region team for the 2023-24 winter/spring season. Majors has played a key role in leading Ursuline Academy of Dallas to two state championships, earning a spot on the all-tournament team. This season with the Dallas Texans ECNL U17 team, she has tallied 5 goals and 2 assists.
The future TCU Horned Frog is in the midst of a stellar youth career with Solar SC, where she has been a mainstay in the midfield. Fuller recently got an opportunity to train and play professionally with Dallas Trinity in the USL Super League, and she has previously been called up to represent the U.S. Women’s Youth National Team. This future Clemson Tiger is one of the best Class of 2026 midfielders in the country. She earned ECNL All-American honors at the U16 level last season, and she recently traveled to Brazil as part of NWSL club KC Current’s Academy Tour. Scobie shined throughout the Fall 2024 campaign for the Sporting Valley 2008 ECNL team. (HIGHLIGHTS)
Repping XF Academy’s 2008 ECNL team, Boehm has verbally committed to the University of Washington. Boehm is a nationally-renowned attacking talent, who was selected as an ECNL All-American for the 2023-24 season at the U16 level. She helped lead XF Academy all the way to the ECNL National Finals last summer.
Putnam is a versatile outside midfielder that can also plays in different roles as an outside back and striker. She has great vision of the field and contributes as a playmaker with her crossing and movement off the ball. The North Texas commit has the speed and skill to consistently create scoring opportunities for her team.

Zea Gonzalez | Forward
Sting Austin 08 (TX)
After having a successful showcase at ECNL St. Louis, Gonzalez turned to her high school season where she’s notched 13 goals and 3 assists so far for Pieper High School. This uncommitted Class of 2026 forward is a dangerous attacking player who could be a strong addition for an NCAA DI program.

Washington Premier 08 (WA)
Jackson is an uncommitted 2026 goalkeeper with great communication and leadership on the field. Paired with her technical and athleticism, she is a force to be reckoned with. She’s a two-time ECNL Conference Cup attendee, and is regarded as one of the top keepers from her class in the Northwest region.

Colorado Rapids 08 (CO)
Rated as one of the Top 100 players from the Class of 2026 by Prep Soccer, Taylor is a standout defender who can play any position on the back line. Amaya is a dynamic midfielder, a game-changer with elite athleticism, speed, and an advanced soccer IQ that sets her apart. She will slot in as the 6, and also play some defense in Dallas. Her ability to read the game and shut down opposing attacks is unmatched, while her quick decision-making transitions defense into dangerous counterattacks. She’s the kind of player who controls the tempo and often steps up in big moments.

Abby is a two-time First Team All-ECNL Virginia Regional League center back, who is now a strong contributor on the back line for Richmond United’s 08 ECNL team. Myers provided consistent, quality play for a defensive unit which has secured 6 clean sheets this season on their way to securing a spot in the ECNL Champions League Playoffs.
