PREVIEW: U15-U17 teams heading to ECNL Boys Texas National Event

The ECNL Boys are headed to the Lone Star State this weekend for ECNL Texas (Apr. 21-23) at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex and Old Settlers Park. The three days of competition will highlight some of the top clubs and brightest stars from the ECNL Boys.

This weekend’s event will feature 144 teams from the U15-U17 age groups.

Friday night will also feature the Continental Tire Boys National Selection Game at 6:00 PM on Field 2 at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. The game will feature players from the U16-U17 age groups and can be live streamed here. To view the rosters, click here.

National Selection Game: Live stream Friday night’s National Selection Game here

Defending Champs: Dallas Texans Academy took home the National Championship last season at the U14 level. Now at the U15 age group, they currently sit third in the Texas Conference North Division with a record of 11-2-3 on the year. This weekend they take LAFC SoCal in a rematch of last year’s National Semifinal game, as well as Heat FC and Slammers FC.

Final Four: FC Dallas made it to the National Semifinals last year at the U16 age group. This year at the U17 level they sit in first place in the Texas Conference North Division with an 8-2-3 record. This weekend they take on West Coast FC, Heat FC, and LAFC SoCal.

Top of the Table: Mustang SC leads the way in the NorCal Conference U16 age group with a record of 13-1-4. This weekend in Texas, they face off against Slammers FC, DKSC, and Heat FC.
