Richmond Kickers announce restructuring of recreational program staff

RICHMOND, VA – (Wednesday, February 21, 2018) – The Richmond Kickers have announced the restructuring of its Recreational Programs staff, naming Incy Teoh the Operations Coordinator and Kristin Wood the Club Administrator and Rec Coordinator.

Teoh and Wood will collaborate to manage the day-to-day operations of the Kickers Recreational program, while continuing to provide the highest level of customer service and building upon the program’s unassailable reputation for success on and off the field.

As Operations Coordinator, Teoh will oversee the facility and game day operations of the Kickers Recreational programs as well as directing the annual Mega Blast Tournament. Meanwhile, Wood has added Rec Coordinator to her title and will serve as the primary point of contact for registration, team management and scheduling, while also managing the daily communications for the club. Under their leadership, the Kickers will continue to offer the membership with quality soccer curriculums at six locations, including Bryan Park, Harpers Mill, Hensley Park, Magnolia Green, Providence Middle School and Ukrop Park.

INCY TEOH, OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Formerly from Australia, Teoh relocated to Richmond, VA in June 2015 with a background in outdoor recreation and came on board as a volunteer for the Richmond Kickers later that year as a Rec coach and office assistant. In January 2016, she was offered a part-time position with the Kickers, focusing on the growth of the Bryan Park program while assisting with Kickers travel team operations and facilities management. In addition to working on the new U.S. Soccer Grassroots series, Teoh holds a USSF E License and recently acted as the Head Coach of the St. Catherine’s School Middle School Girls soccer team in Spring 2017. She has a BS in Sports Science from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia and has a passion to help young people see the benefits of being active whether it be in the outdoors or through sports and especially soccer.

KRISTIN WOOD, CLUB ADMINISTRATOR AND REC COORDINATOR
Wood joined the Kickers as a U4 coach in September 2016. Shortly after, she took a temporary position with the Rec and Travel programs and transitioned to the role of Club Administrator in July 2017. She has coached U4-U10 for the Kickers Rec program, along with ADP and the Rec All-Stars Program. Wood obtained her USSF E License and has started working on the new U.S. Soccer Grassroots series. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University and went on to receive her Master of Professional Studies in Security & Safety Leadership from The George Washington University.

After four years as the Kickers Rec Director, Amy Neal has transitioned to the club’s sales and marketing department, taking on a new role as the Director of Partnership Marketing. She will serve as the key client interface for corporate partners, while managing a growing and diverse portfolio and guiding the strategic direction of the club.
