Saint Joseph’s women’s soccer unveils recruiting class
(Via Saint Joseph’s University) – Saint Joseph’s women’s soccer head coach Jess Mannella has announced seven newcomers – Jaydin Avery, Emily Cuccio, Aña Dzunova, Kayla Flanders, Ashley Groeber, Ashley Orendac and Quinn Sokol – will join the Hawks for the 2019 season.
Jaydin Avery – FC Bucks ECNL
Position: Forward/Midfield
High School: The Pennington School
What Coach Mannella has to say: Jaydin has excellent pace and great technical skill. Her proven ability to score and create goals will help improve our already dangerous attack. Jaydin will be a great asset both centrally and in the wide areas of our offense.
Emily Cuccio – World Class ECNL
Position: Goalkeeper
High School: Morris County School of Technology

Aña Dzunova – PDA ECNL
Position: Forward
High School: Cranford

Kayla Flanders – PDA South
Position: Defense
High School: Rancocas Valley
What Coach Mannella has to say: Kayla has been on our radar for many years. She is a very quick, tough, skillful winger who also brings great leadership and character to our team.
Ashley Groeber – FC Bucks ECNL
Position: Midfield
High School: Pennridge
What Coach Mannella has to say: Ashley is a central midfielder that does a great job of connecting the backs to the forwards. She is very possession-oriented and has a wide range of passing skills.
Ashley Orendac – FC Bucks ECNL
Position: Midfield
High School: Rancocas Valley
What Coach Mannella has to say: We have seen Ashley play and known her for many years. We always knew that she would fit perfectly with our attacking style of play. She has great foot skills, excellent field awareness and loves to take players on 1v1 to create goal scoring opportunities.
Quinn Sokol – FC United Development Academy
Position: Defense
High School: Lake Forest
