Schedule announced for US Youth Soccer Region I Championships
FRISCO, Texas (Via US Youth Soccer) — US Youth Soccer has announced the schedule for the 2017 US Youth Soccer Region I Championships, to be held June 30 – July 4 at the Publix Virginia Soccer Training Center/FFC Park and Embrey Mills Complex in Spotsylvania, Va.
The US Youth Soccer Region I Championships will feature top teams in the 12U through 19/20U age groups. Round robin games will take place Friday, June 30 through Sunday, July 2, with semifinal matches Monday, July 3. The US Youth Soccer Region I Champions will be crowned following final games Tuesday, July 4.

VIDEO: 2017 US Youth Soccer Region I Championships — The Road Continues On
US Youth Soccer State Champions and select wildcards in the 12 through 19/20U Boys and Girls age groups from 15 State Associations, including from host Virginia Youth Soccer Association will participate in the event. The other state associations represented include Connecticut, Delaware, Eastern New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York West, Pennsylvania West, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.
Teams competing in the Regional Championships advanced through the first step of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, where more than 10,000 teams began their journey at the US Youth Soccer State Championships. State champions advance to the one of four US Youth Soccer Regional Championships, where nearly a thousand teams compete.
