Super Y League announces East Meadow SC as new member club
TAMPA, Fla. – The Super Y League today announced the addition of East Meadow SC. The New York-based club will compete in the North Atlantic Division beginning in the 2021 season.
“We are thrilled to bring another New York-based team into the ranks of the Super Y League for the 2021 season,” said Dominic Colarusso, USL Youth League Growth and Development Manager. “We are confident that East Meadow SC will rise to the challenge of competing in the North Atlantic Division and that the league’s competition platform will provide a space for these players to develop their confidence on the field.”
Since the club’s foundation in 1971, East Meadow SC has strived to provide high-level training programs to its players while emphasizing the club’s mission of good sportsmanship and creativity on and off the field.
The summer platform offered by the Super Y League will assist East Meadow SC in creating opportunities for their players to develop and test their skills. These young athletes will also have the chance to compete nationally and gain exposure through events such as the Super Y League Finals and the USL Experience.
“East Meadow SC is privileged to be included as a member of the Super Y League,” said Huntley Swaby, East Meadow Boys ECNL Director. “This is a fantastic achievement for our membership and coaching staff who have remained committed to our club synergy model and culture.”
“We are excited to establish a new relationship with the Super Y League as they continue to provide pathways and platforms for elite player development throughout the country,” Swaby concluded.
