SYC Soccer hires Vicky Hall as U13-U19 Girls Director of Coaching
Springfield, Va. – SYC Soccer has hired Vicky Hall, one of the regions most experienced and qualified female coaches, as the new Girls Director of Coaching for the U13-U19 age groups.
Hall will work closely with players and girls coaching staff to continue to provide a fun and competitive learning environment that will benefit all of the SYC members. She holds her National “A” Coaching License, United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, and the USSF National Youth License.
Currently a Coaching Education instructor for United Soccer Coaches and USSF Grassroots courses, Hall recently served as the Technical Director at Gunston Soccer Club since 2015. She has also served as Director of Youth Development and Director of Girls Coaches at PWSI, Furthermore, she served 8 years with Loudoun Soccer where she was the Youth Academy Director of Coaching.
A native of Glasgow, Scotland, Hal came to the United States in 1998 on a full scholarship to Northwood University in Dallas, Texas. While attending Northwood, she was a four year starter and was named captain as a sophomore.
SYC Soccer Technical Director Esteban “Este” Maldonado had this to say: “I have known Vicky for over a decade and she has always demonstrated so much passion and knowledge to teach the game. Vicky will help us continue to develop our girls side and help get us closer to our mission going forward. We are very excited to have her in our team.”
Hall will start with SYC Soccer on July 1. More information on SYC’s restructured technical staff for the 2020-2021 season will be announced coming in the following days.
