Tennessee SC appoints new Director of Soccer and Technical Director
FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club announced that Stephen Jordan has been named Director of Soccer, while Graham Whitehouse will take on the new role of Technical Director.
This change will aim to implement equal attention paid to all TSC soccer operations at every level of play across the club as well as applied focus on player and coach development.
“This change puts two great soccer minds in Stephen and Graham in a position to positively impact the club right away,” said Executive Director Stuart Brown. “Stephen is organized, thoughtful and intentional in his approach to developing players and coaches. That approach will benefit our entire community of players and coaches immensely. Graham will continue his leadership efforts with our coaches and players. He has a wealth of experience and this change will allow him to really support and educate our coaching staff.”
As Director of Soccer, Jordan will focus on every level of play in the club and work with the coaches and players to maximize their soccer experience. He will implement regular assessments and evaluations on and off the field to ensure that all players and coaches grow and develop appropriately within the framework of TSC’s core values.
“This is an exciting challenge and I appreciate the club offering me this opportunity,” said Jordan. “There are a lot of good things going on across all of our programs currently but I am excited to work with the Age Group Directors and coaching staff to make them even better.”
In his new role as Technical Director, Whitehouse will focus purely on the educational aspects of the game for the club’s entire soccer staff. Whitehouse, who works with both Tennessee State Soccer Association and US.. Soccer as a course instructor, will apply those skills and expertise to ensure coaches continue to grow while being a part of the club.
