The ECNL College Impact – 2018 Women’s College Cup

RICHMOND, Va. (Via ECNL) – The ECNL College Impact on the 2018 NCAA Division I Women’s College Cup Final Four is extensive. ECNL Alums make up over 75% of the players participating in the 2018 NCAA Division I Women’s College Cup.

In total, there are 82 ECNL Alums on the four teams that will compete to be crowned the 2018 NCAA National Champion this weekend:

  • Florida State – 10 ECNL Alums
  • Georgetown – 25 ECNL Alums
  • University of North Carolina – 22 ECNL Alums
  • Stanford – 25 ECNL Alums

In 2018, once again, ECNL Alums have dominated the landscape in conferences all over the country, reinforcing the ECNL as the proven pathway to the top women’s collegiate programs. With ECNL Alums constituting the majority of the top four teams in the country, the league proves to be the preferred destination for female soccer players in the United States.

Georgetown

  • 2018 Big East Offensive Player of the Year is ECNL Alum Caitlin Farrell (Connecticut FC)
  • 2018 Big East Defensive Player of the Year is ECNL Alum Meaghan Nally (FC Virginia)
  • 2018 Big East Goalkeeper of the Year is ECNL Alum Arielle Schechtman (San Diego Surf)

University of North Carolina

  • 3 ECNL Alums on the 2018 ACC All-Conference First Team
