Time for Fredericksburg Cup girls weekend

It’s time for the Fredericksburg Cup girls’ weekend, as teams in the Under-11, U-12, U-13, U-15 and U-18 age groups will play this weekend on the outdoor fields of the Fredericksburg Field House and Dixon Park. The Fredericksburg Area Soccer Association is hosting the tournament.
Twenty-four girls teams are taking part this weekend (Girls’ weekend schedule).
The following weekend, it’s Fredericksburg Cup’s boys’ weekend (Boys’ weekend schedule), with 40 teams from across Virginia set to take part in U-10 through U-18 brackets.
Talking to soccerwire.com earlier this year, FASA general manager Pete Cinalli said the Fredericksburg Cup has been building steadily over the years, with this year marking its 10th anniversary.
“We think the Fredericksburg Cup has a lot to offer for teams across the region and we’re eager to keep that momentum going,” Cinalli said.
