Top Teams Unchanged in Latest High School Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 17, 2019) — United Soccer Coaches and USA Today High School Sports released the latest boys and girls regular season soccer polls in the USA TODAY/ United Soccer Coaches super 25 Fall Rankings.

The top teams remained the same in each poll, however, 18 new teams entered the rankings this week, 10 on the boys’ side and eight in the girls’ poll.

St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, N.J. continued to hold down the top spot in the boys’ poll with a 6-0 record while Medina (Medina, Ohio) and Martin Luther King, Jr. (New York, N.Y.) sit in the number two and three spot for the third week in a row. Marquette University High (Milwaukee, Wis.) and Salesianum School (Wilmington, Del.) each moved up one spot this week to round out the top five.

Jesuit from Portland, Oregon remains in the top spot in the girls’ ranking with a 5-0 record. McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) remains in the No. 2 spot for the second week in a row, while Eastern (Voorhees Township, N.J.) moved up one spot into the No. 3 ranking this week. LaSalle Academy (Providence, R.I.) and Beavercreek (Beavercreek, Ohio) each moved up four spots this week into the top five.
