Tri-State ECNL Review March 20-22: Match Fit teams go perfect 3-0-0

Match Fit Academy’s U-14 and U-18 ECNL sides combined to go a perfect 3-0-0 this weekend, earning wins over East Meadow SC, Albertson Fury and Connecticut FC. While Match Fit’s U-14s improved to an above .500 record, the U-18s continued their amazing run with yet another clean sheet. The team has won all five league matches this season and has not given up a single goal.

Saturday, March 21
East Meadow Soccer Club 3-4 Match Fit Academy

  • East Meadow is now fourth in the New England Division at 4-7-2 with 20 goals and 29 allowed.
  • Match Fit dropped to 6-6-1 on the season with the loss.

Sunday, March 22
Albertson Fury 3-4 Match Fit Academy

  • With the weekend split, Match Fit improved to 7-6-1 with 26 goals and 23 allowed on the season.
  • Albertson Fury dropped to 0-12-1, remaining sixth in the New England Division with 9 goals and 40 allowed.

U-18

Sunday, March 22
Connecticut FC 0-3 Match Fit Academy

  • Match Fit Academy improved to 5-0-0 on the season, having scored 15 goals and given up none.
