Two Maryland teams crowned US Youth Soccer national champions
Glen Burnie, MD (Via MSYSA) – Two Maryland youth soccer teams earned US Youth Soccer National Championships titles after competing against some of the best teams in the country last week in Frisco, Texas.
The 18-U Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club 00 boys and 19-and-under Baltimore Celtic SC Christos claimed their crowns over the weekend, defeating two Far West Regional teams. The 18U boys became back-to-back champions with a three-goal shutout over Nevada’s Downtown LVSC 00 Academy team. The 19U boys won 2-1 over California South’s FC Golden State White.

The 17-and-under Premier Navy girls placed third in their age group after a close 1-0 loss against champion California South’s Rebels 2001 Elite.
MSYSA is proud of all six teams that competed at the National Championships this year, including the 13U Pipeline SC girls, the 17U Olney Rangers boys, and the 18U Baltimore Bays boys.
