U.S. Futsal National Team roster announced for first training camp of 2023

CHICAGO – U.S. Futsal National Team head coach Dusan Jakica has called in 19 players for the first training camp of the year, which will take place from February 22-26 in Hamilton, Ohio.
The roster includes 15 players who were on the USA team that won the 2022 Umag Nations Cup in Croatia last October – which included wins over Czech Republic U21s (5-3), Slovenia U21s (5-2) and France U23s (5-3).
A year after returning to the FIFA Futsal World Cup for the first time since 2008, the Futsal NT went undefeated in 2022. In addition to the Umag Nations Cup sweep, the USA went 2-0-1 in friendlies, with a win and draw against Montenegro’s full team and another win over the Czech Republic U-21 squad.
