U.S. Paralympic National Team falls 8-0 to Brazil in Pool B at Paralympic Games in London
The U.S. Paralympic National Team fell to Brazil 8-0 on Monday in Pool B play in the 2012 Paralympics at Riverbank Arena.
Brazil’s Ronaldo Almeida de Souza, Jose Carlos Montiero Guimares and Mateus Francisco Tostes Calvo each had two goals. USA goalkeeper Keith Johnson had 19 saves and now has 30 in the tournament.
The U.S. wraps up Pool B on Sept. 5 against host Great Britain. The USA’s match with Great Britain is tentatively scheduled to be streamed live on Paralympic.org and http://www.youtube.com/ParalympicSportTV/, with kickoff at 9:15 a.m. ET.
