U.S. U-14 Boys’ National Team earns split against two Academy U-15/16 squads
CARSON, Calif. – The U.S. Under-14 Boys’ National Team split its matches against a pair of Development Academy U-15/16 teams at U.S. Soccer’s National Training Center.
The U-14s opened with a 2-0 loss against Pateadores’ U-15/16s and rebounded with an 8-0 victory against Arsenal FC’s U-15/16 squad.
In the Arsenal match, three U-14 BNT players had two goals as Jose Carranza, Nicholas Taitague and Lucas Del Rosario each tallied a brace. Jonathan Gonzalez had the game-winning goal in the third minute and Adolfo Trujillo also notched a goal.
The U-14 BNT out-shot Arsenal FC 12-3, with a 9-1 shots on goal advantage.
Eric Lopez and David Abonce split time in the goal, making one save for the clean sheet.
