U.S. U-14 Boys’ National Team falls to LA Galaxy U-15/16s, Club Tijuana

CARSON, Calif. – In wrapping up its August camp at U.S. Soccer’s National Training Center, the U.S. Under-14 Boys’ National Team dropped a match against the LA Galaxy U-15/16 Academy team and Club Tijuana’s U-16 Academy.

The LA Galaxy garnered an 8-1 victory to open the evening. The lone U-14 BNT goal came from Justin Rennicks in the 25th minute.

The U-14s then dropped a 2-1 decision against Club Tijuana. Tijuana scored the game’s first two goals and the USA benefited from a 63rd-minute own goal to cut its deficit to 2-1. The U-14s out-shot Tijuana 7-6 and both teams had three shots on goal.
