U.S. U-15 Boys’ National Team earns positive results during training camp at The Home Depot Center

The U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team earned a win and a draw on Tuesday against U.S. Soccer Development Academy competition during a training camp at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

The 36-player camp roster was divided into separate teams to face the LA Galaxy and Irvine Strikers FC.

Haji Wright, who is actually registered with the LA Galaxy U-15/16 Academy team, scored against his club team in the 54^th minute, vaulting the U-15 BNT into a 1-0 lead, but the advantage didn’t last long as the Galaxy responded within six minutes on a goal from forward Alex Ramos to tie the score at 1-1. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Chivas USA Academy forward Joshua Perez scored two goals for the U-15 BNT in the team’s other match, a 4-2 win against Strikers FC. The U-15 BNT held a 4-1 lead before Strikers FC cut the lead in half 10 minutes from the end of the match.

Gaines and Arellano added the other two goals for the U.S.
