U.S. U-15 Boys’ National Team ties with Italy at the Tournament Delle Nazioni in Italy
GRADISCA, Italy – The U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team played Italy to a scoreless draw Tuesday at the Tournament Delle Nazioni in Italy.
The U.S. team controlled much of the match but was unable to capitalize on some close chances.
Led by head coach Tony Lepore, the U.S. will play at least three tournament games with the semifinals taking place on Saturday, May 4, and the final on Sunday, May 5.
The U.S. next faces Chile at 5 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET) on Thursday, May 2, before wrapping up the first phase against Slovenia on Friday, May 3, also at 5 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET). The first three games will be played with 30-minute halves, with the semifinal and final having 40-minute halves.
