U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team to face Saint Louis FC U-18s

CHICAGO (Via U.S. Soccer) – The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team will face the Saint Louis FC U-18 team on Oct. 8 at the World Wide Technology Soccer Park in St. Louis. The match is set to kick off on the stadium field at 7:30 p.m. CT.

The U.S. U-17’s will feature Josh Sargent, a St. Louis native, who is a product of the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Academy program and St. Dominic High School in St. Charles, Mo. The STLFC U-18 team will be made up of top players selected from two of U.S. Soccer Development Academy programs: SLSG Missouri and SLSG Illinois. The STLFC U-18’s will also feature occasional Youth National Team call ups Aedan Stanley, Logan Panchot, Seth Steibel and Jack Maher.

The match will celebrate St. Louis’ involvement in the United States soccer landscape and the continued growth of the sport in the country. In addition, many players, coaches, and front office positions have been held by St. Louisans throughout the history of the U.S. Soccer Federation. More information regarding the festivities for the event will be released at a later date.
